door and window frames,
wood salvaged from historical buildings before their demolition, earth
The exhibition took place in the large Szilassy park in Bex (Switzerland), an area formerly characterised by the presence of mines. Wooden door and window frames from the nearby old buildings connected to that industry have been salvaged to build a rustic and rickety hut/shelter inside a depression in the ground. A structure that one should avoid approaching or even entering, whereas the viewers’ status allows them to do so.
