200 bed sheets sewn together to form one piece Dolby sound 5+1, video
Invited to inaugurate the first contemporary art institution in Gibraltar, Miki Tallone chose to delve into the history of the forced evacuation of the British colony. The untold mourning caused by this cruel episode from World War II gave her the idea to reach out to the local population. The installation, created with bed sheets donated by local Gibraltarians, unfolds through space, giving vent to a dormant pathos.
