2015
wooden beams, mdf panels,
plasterboard, dispersion paint,
drawing engraved with a cutter
The installation was born in the context of the AlpTransit construction site. The artist started from the artificial and ephemeral village built for the workers of the gallery to reflect on the concept of abandonment. The crumbling structure, made of wooden panels and plasterboard, is criss-crossed by thin cuts that emphasise the tension between static conditions, balance and the danger of structural collapse.
