This site-specific installation, placed on the Via Crucis leading to the sanctuary of Madonna dell’Ongero, near Carona (Switzerland), features the outline of a door/home in metal wire through which the public can walk. The project stems from a reflection on the third chapel of the Via Crucis, corresponding to the First Fall of the Christ. The title points to the linchpin of the installation: the detour is conceptually opposed to the Via Crucis and to the procession as a never-changing liturgy. The name is therefore based on the hypothesis of a possible deviation from it.
